Starting from Poujol-Sur-Orb ... A quiet journey ... up to the Colombières waterslide which may give you a few shivers. At Tarassac, the rapids of the 'Grille' and then 'Moulin' can surprise you. May be some water in the canoe .... This section of the route gives you unusual and magnificent views of the Caroux.
After the Tarassac base, the Orb becomes calmer and a few small rapids regularly enhance the progression.
Along the way, you pass the footbridges (obligatory descent) and cross the villages of Vieussan and the hamlet of Ceps. As you pass the cliffs, some places to take a break...
All along the descent, you will certainly be able to observe grey herons, black kites and maybe mink, for the luckiest or the quietest ones !!!
After Roquebrun, the atmosphere is calm, but the slide of the Moulin Maynard and Moulin Neuf will undoubtedly break the monotony that could settle in, up to Réals...
Canoë Tarrassac (Mons-La-Trivalle) and Canoë Roquebrun offer different routes on the Orb for all levels, from 5 km for about 1h30 of canoeing to more than 35 km to be covered over 3 days.
