After crossing the Orb, cross the Village from south to north, paying attention to the signposts. At the exit of Le Poujol, a track rises up towards the Croix des Baussels, a must-see crossroads for hiking above Lamalou-les-Bains.

From this point, the narrow path is very pleasant in the undergrowth and takes you to springs, a viewpoint over Lamalou, an isolated hamlet and finally to the "Arts" farm. Then, a track leads you from the bottom of the valley towards the Col de la Pierre Plantée.

At the pass, last descent towards the hamlets of Cours-le-haut and Cours-le-bas before arriving at Saint-Gervais-sur-mare.
