[Information of 4 May 2023] : Following the landslide last December which swept away part of the road before Héric, a period of road repair work is necessary to restore access for emergency vehicles in particular. Work planned on the car park and the Gorges d'Héric track from 30 May to 23 June 2023, the route will be impassable between Verdier Haut and Verdier Bas, at the end of the end of the route.
Solution: at the entrance to the hamlet of Verdier Haut, turn right onto the route des gorges to reach Verdier Bas, avoiding the Gorges d'Héric car park area.

Start: Tourist Office in Mons-La-Trivalle (avenue de la gare).
Car park: Behind the Toursit Office of Mons.
Description: After a departure on the road of the gorges, you take the direction of the Camping du Caroux to join the church and the old Mons. Take your time, the "small" heritage is omnipresent and remarkable. After the last houses, the path becomes a little more technical. Do not hesitate to put your foot down! The entrance to the gorges signals the end of the technical part and takes you to the hamlets of Verdier Haut and Bas. A final loop through the Trivallois vineyards takes you back to your starting point.
